	Websites Flyers Website Plugins		Design For Dance and www.designfordance.co.uk is a service provided by Gomango Limited. Payment VAT will be charged on all prices unless stated otherwise. Terms are: payment will be required prior to the provision of service. Website design visuals We will produce at least one concept visual for your consideration. If this visual requires improvement or if a second or third visual is requested we will provide these for no additional fee. If you require more than three visuals the additional visuals will cost £25 each. Copyright on all rejected visuals will remain with us. Website/Print content It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy, legitimacy and ownership of all content published on your website and in printed material. Design for Dance (or its owners, Gomango Limited) cannot be held responsible for any published content. Additional technical information Web browser compatibility The website and/or the Content Management facilities will be designed to function in their optimum state when viewed using the Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6 web browser (and later versions). The website will function effectively in most other browsers but there may be some differences in functionality when different browser types or versions are used. Where possible, such differences will be accommodated within our development of the website. Where significant variances occur, appropriate user help messages will be provided to advice users on how to upgrade their web browser to a standard that complies with the requirements of the website. Optimising your website for typical web user screen settings Unless requested otherwise, website design work will be carried out in relation to a screen display of 1024 pixels width and a colour setting of 16bit For reasons of design layout and readability we do not design to accommodate screen display settings above 1024 width so when viewing at such a setting it is likely that the user will see additional empty screen space. We currently design websites to a width of approximately 950 pixels. Ownership and Copyright Development items in relation to the project are supplied as follows (some of the items noted below may not relate to your project): 1. Where concept visuals are supplied these remain the property of Design For Dance (Gomango LImited) property until the project is paid for - at this stage, copyright of the selected visual concept is passed to you 2. You have unrestricted use of all processed images and graphics developed in association with the your project 3. We supply on request all image source files (e.g. PhotoShop masters) developed during the project. If a copy of website or artwork files is required these will be supplied on CD at a cost per CD of £10 plus VAT 4. Cold Fusion/ASP or similar source files contain coding developed by Design For Dance (Gomango Limited) - copyright is retained by Design For Dance (Gomango Limited) 5. All website code developed in relation to Design For Dance projects remains the property of Design For Dance (Gomango Limited) and is not transferrable in any way. 6. See Weblive notes below for information about data and source code ownership in relation to Weblive Weblive Content Management System Design For Dance (Gomango Limited) retains ownership of all copyright relating to Weblive Copies of Weblive files and databases cannot be made available However, if you require a copy of the data relating to your business that is stored in a Weblive database this can be provided on CD in either Excel of Access format for a one-off fee of £50 plus VAT (this fee covers data extraction and copying processes) Website hosting Design For Dance (Gomango Limited) does not charge for website hosting. This service is provided free for all customers who purchase a Weblive (CMS) service. We will also provide website hosting in other instances for a fixed set-up fee and an ongoing storage fee. We DO NOT guarantee connection between our web server and the Internet. Customers use our free hosting service do so at their own risk (we cannot take responsibility for loss of business due to server downtime or other similar faults or problems) If your web presence is essential to your business we recommend that you take out independent insurance to cover potential loss due to server downtime However, we take server management very seriously and we seek to provide a high level of service and connectivity This includes: An action plan for the replacement/upgrading of our web server to ensure that the server hardware functions effectively and competitively (typically, this means replacement of the server every two years) Security systems including Firewall and virus protection to protect and secure the server Facilities for the set-up of free FTP (File Transfer) accounts for our customers Automated backup of all websites and datasources every 24 hours to an external location (each backup is stored off-site for 30 days) – this enables recovery of deleted or corrupt files within the timescale of the archived backups 24/7 monitoring of the server (problems are notified via a mobile phone message sent to Gomango Limited and to our server support team) Critical event recovery – we plan to be able to re-establish our web server with all websites and datasources within approximately two working days in the event of the catastrophic loss of the server (e.g. due to fire or theft) Arrangements in place for the physical (anti-theft) security of the server Hosting that is local to Gomango Limited to enable us to have access to the server as required Out of hours notices on server status are available via our call centre 0870 438 4646
